Sep. 16th, 2006 08:34 am...All right OKT fandom, I know you're not very big and difficult to write for, and the costumes and stuff are way-detailed and hard to draw, but when, WHEN in the books did it mention that the characters were elves? Explain, in detail, use examples! Find me the passage! Cite the page number in different editions!
Yes, I was looking for fanart and approximately one in five of the pictures I came across gave Sabriel/Lirael/Mogget's for-some-reason-new-human-form-that-is-way-sexy-and-in-an-Armani-suit pointed ears. Why? The books never mention pointed ears, or elves, or anything that may be construed as elfishness. The only other races are the Dead stuff and Free Magic things, who tend to look more like Silent Hill monsters (as I imagine them) or giant columns of white fire, respectively. Does every fan in the world secretly want Sabriel to be Legolas? Because that's silly.
Sabriel is much hotter than Legolas.

Give me a character (or a pairing, or a non-romantic relationship, or a theory, or anything you like, really) from a fandom (er, preferably one that I'm familiar with. Crossover if you must), and a theme to go with it, and I'll write you a one sentence fic. Repeat as many times as you like.
Fandoms I'm familiar with and likely to write for include the Jak and Daxter series, Firefly (especially Wash), Thief (but only Deadly Shadows and yes I know I suck completely for not playing the first two but IT WON'T PLAY ON XP COMPUTERS), Hungry City Chronicles (but only the first two books and if you spoil the other two for me I'll be taking some cues from the Fenris wolf and MAKING YOU EAT YOUR CHILDREN), the Old Kingdom Trilogy, and sending characters to Silent Hill that are not actually the characters of the Silent Hill series.
Also you can request one Top Gear sentence if you are the riona-person. I can't promise it'll be good, or in-character, or even, er, with the sense-making, but. You know. I'll do one.
