So Wall-E was basically the most brilliant thing I've seen since ever, you Yanks are bastards for keeping it all to yourselves, anyone who doesn't like it obviously lacks a soul, and Pixar continue to be a source of much of the world's awesome.

Date: 2008-09-22 09:31 pm (UTC)I am an animation geek, so that might be influencing my opinion a bit (it's beautifully, beautifully animated, even the trash-covered Earth is sort of harshly lovely) but I get kind of disappointed when people dismiss animated movies. It is cute, but it's got heart, and it's very well put-together and and poignant and fun and funny, and it's got a totally awesome female character - even if she happens to be a robot.
