In other news: blargh exams. I am upset because next week's exam block does not give me any time to do anything except study. Blagh! I want to see if I can find more of The Adventures Of The Merc Who Just Wouldn't Shut Up (aka Deadpool aka Wade Wilson). Stupid prospect of future employment. Getting in the way of my personal amusement.

SH-Hester fic, tentatively entitled Saltrust: Er. Stalled. My brain decided to throw up the idea of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac meets James Sunderland! And then it said "Let's do a recap of Deadly Shadows to delight and amuse the masses!" And then I said "Why do you do these things to me!" And it said "'Dunno, I just don't think I like you!" And then school ate me.

Thought: Has it ever occured to anyone else that the best professional writers give you the impression of constantly saying, "EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS STUPID except me!"? (Except Philip Reeve. He's very unpretentious in his interviews. Sort of "Whee airships!" all the time.)

Last day of school ever Monday.

Oh man, I know I've been saying this, but I love love love the Cable & Deadpool comics. If you can find any of the trades, I highly recommend picking them up. I keep intending to make a post with some scans to show off the awesomeness and hilarity, but I also keep not having the time for it.

But! You can't stall on Saltrust! I'm waiting for it! WAITING!

Remember what I said about scans_daily? Yeah, thass what I meant when I said I was laughing mysef sick. It's amazing how many times the guy has managed to surprise me. "Wait - he - what? Why would you want to fight Wolverine? He'd hand you your ass! Er- Yellow panties? I don't think they suit you. Self-narration what? Why are you so preoccupied with needing to pe- you have to remind yourself which way your gun goes? Who's Bea Arthur? WHY ARE YOU SUCH A FREAK?"

I think I like him.

Although, being scans_daily, those are probably the weirdest moments. Nothing quite beats alien snoggage for sheer wtf. Most of the time he just never seems to shut up. I wiki'ed him and now I know everything except how to get my hands on any book with him in it. There are TWO COMIC STORES IN MY ENTIRE STATE. TWO. BLAAAGH.

I'M SO SO SORRY! SO SORRY! I actually have to STUDY now and it's driving me insane! Big exam week coming up in which I can do nothing except stuff my brain full of school. It's the last week ever ever ever. Graduating for keepsies. I skeered.
