I need to figure out how to convert .wma to .mp3, because for some reason WINAMP is no longer willing to play .wma's. *shakes a fist at it*
OH MY GOSH, Nano, "WALL-E" is so adorable. Hee! Even the vague creepiness around 1:20 has undertones of curiosity and adorableness.
And, okay, I already have "Welcome Home," but it totally deserves to be on this list. I've listened to it basically on loop for the past two days and have begun to develop an emotional reaction to hearing that first part. Sort of... like a person taking a cool drink of water after a long time being parched, which IS NOT A NORMAL REACTION AT ALL. Maybe it's time I started listening to some of the other songs I have.
And! Hooray! I have "Where Is My Mind" again! I lost it awhile ago and hadn't remembered to re-download it.
I really really like the Royksopp song. I am in much support of creepy songs with creepy lyrics that don't entirely make sense.
Someday I hope to get all the Thief music you have. They all fit the missions so well. Is the Wieldstrom Museum from T:DS, or one of the earlier games? I know I still need to visit the museum, I just don't know if you get to visit the museum in earlier games too. Or if there are other museums? OR SOMETHING.
AHAHA, I'm... not really sure what you see when the Dead Space song gets to the jittering strings part, but it puts an excellent image in my mind of thousands and thousands of screaming, jittering insect-like, larval monsters clawing and crawling their way over each other and into everything. Excellent use of the strings! And of music!
ALSO OH MAN, "Why So Serious" is another excellent use of music to really convey a mood and tone and scene. It just... you were so right, it just screams insanity, increasing insanity until you just... can't... take it anymore. Although I think I vaguely remember that opening from a scene(s?) in the movie. And the rest of it is awesome and rocking in a slightly insane way. I love and may have to buy the song from iTunes if I can, assuming I can't find a way to convert it to .mp3. (I might want to buy it anyway, just because it is GENIUS.)
