nano_moose*kicks internet connection in the head* I! Want! To! Upload! Gay! Rrrr. I'm not sure if it's because the connection sucks or because my brother is on in the other room doing whatever the hell it is he does on the internet, but it keeps randomly disconnecting and telling me things don't exist. Which is a problem when you're trying to upload Guilt Is A Useless Emotion. I'm sorry, Squeem and anyone else who might possibly want that song! I'll have to try it some other time when the wireless is not being a sillyface.
On a less infuriated note, man do I love the music from The Overlook Manse, in T:DS. That whole mission is probably my favourite out of all the ones I've played. It's got such a unique mood. Like a tragic play or something. It makes me want to make a music post about Music What Is Sad And/Or Spooky And/Or Makes Me Space Out.
Also, forget my recapping of the plot of the first two Thief games: this is how it really happened and I will completely ignore anyone who tells me different.
I am working on the second installment of My Adventures In Vietnam but the aforementioned connection silliness is messing with my photos. Damn my brother. I'm sure this is somehow his fault.

Legion
I'm pretty sure this is one of my favourite fics of all time, because it so perfectly captures the mood of one of the eeriest parts of any game I've ever played. The language is so lovely and so harsh. For a fic about a character that never really appears in the game and has a terribly depressing ending, it makes me so happy. If you've played Ico, read. If you haven't, a) why not and b) play it and then read it, if you find a copy.
Fandom: Spider-Man 2
Falling Feels Like Flying
I refuse to believe any of you haven't seen the movie, so you have no excuse for not reading this. Seriously, it is awesome. This one is about an original character, who is, yes, introduced in the very first line of the very first chapter, and, yes, redeems the villain, but. It's still good. Figure that out. You might want to set aside some time, though. It's multi-chaptered and weirdly addictive.

I have, uh, a bit of a thing for fics with strange and beautiful language. This is one of them: three chapters, three faces, three steps to the edge before you fall. A gloriously weird, tragic look at the Rinoa-Is-Ultimecia theory that makes me wish I could paint.
