I looked Freddo Frog up on Wikipedia and discovered they were originally going* to be chocolate mice until the creator decided women and children were too scared of rodents and would never eat them.
Apparently, though, it's acceptable to eat frogs. (WHAT, ESCARGOT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU, LA LA LA)
