...Guys, Cole McGrath versus Alex Mercer isn't the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. Cole versus Alex is, "Hey Trish, why are you turning into a monstrosity from the inner recesses of my darkest fevered nightmareOHGODAUUUUGH."

Don't get me wrong, if I had a choice between either of them as a protagonist I'd go with Cole because with him there's a fifty-fifty chance that he won't shred me to pieces and devour me alive, which are better chances than Alex offers, but the guy can manipulate electricity and run good. Alex is an indestructible shape-shifting mass-altering super-everything virusmonster that eats people.*

Now can both fanbases shut up and get back to playing their respective games?

*I'd say God help the world if they ever teamed up, but a world with Alex in it is probably long-abandoned by any god.
