Dear Alan Moore and David Gibbons,
Re: Ending of Watchmen.

...Ow.

Love,

Nano

Edited when I finally stopped shivering: I picked the TPB up at the convention like I said I would. I'm pretty sure I was lucky, actually; it was the last on the rack and the dweeby awesome comic dude sold it to me for less than I was told it would cost. Horray.

I read in an afternoon, all at once.

In hindsight, that was, uh, probably a bad idea. Or so the almost total absence of sleep last night would seem to indicate. Don't get me wrong, it was a very good book - probaby one of the best I've ever read in any genre - but. Um. Not precisely conducive to peace of mind.

Have you ever had the sensation that everything suddenly turned off? Or had the volume turned down? That's the feeling I got at the end of chapter eleven.

"I will give you bodies beyond your wildest imaginings." Can I get an argh?
