I'm trying to think of lovable psychos.
So far, I can only list James Sunderland, Cloud Strife and Atton Rand (of KOTOR II fame - the others are self-evident to my flist, I believe). I don't mean cool psychos, there's loads of those - I mean the ones that are dorky and ridiculous and adorable but oh, so very very nuts.
Most of them have horrible, disturbing backstories, usually contributing to the psycho. Most of them also have hilariously stupid lines, or moments of Neat Snark (no fingers, not Neat Nsark, although the alliteration is appealing, I admit). I think what the world needs is more dorky psychos in its media.
It just occurs to me that the Mayor, widely acknowledged as Joss's Finest Achievement in Villainy, totally fits as well. Cool! Yo, Intarweb, can you list any others?
