Okay: SCHOOL. Crazy whacky crunch-time for me. It's starting to mess with me, you probably know the deal: OH GOD I'M BAD AT EVERYTHING AND I WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT AND WILL END UP EATING ALL MY BOOKS. WOE. But I hope that doesn't happen - the QCS isn't as hard as everyone tends to make it out to be, and I always enjoy doing the writing task. Especially if it's about something interesting. We'll see. I'm hoping to pull up my OP a little bit, y'know, or at least maintain my English standard - mainly because QANTM QANTM QANTM.
I've been drawing a lot lately! Mostly these strange little doodles in my notebook. I have two teenage superhero characters that keep on recurring. One's named RiffRaff and the other is Eidolon, and my favourite picture I drew of them has them meeting their respective Endless (yes, from Sandman). Riffraff's is Dream (he's sort of staring severely at her) and Eidolon's is Delirium (who's drifting up to touch her on the forehead, while Eidolon's tears turn to butterflies because Del's crazy like that). They're actually pretty old characters. RiffRaff is sort of this weird experiment some labratory was doing, trying to see if they could combine human and demon DNA (yeah, original, huh) and she was the least twisted of the results. One of the scientists working with her ended up freeing her, but the labratory has since been destroyed, along with the other specimens. She has pointy ears and a demon tail and is sooper-agile and flexible. Mainly I just draw her because of the cute factor.
Eidolon's a bit different (and certainly a lot creepier) and was kinda born out of the empath!Mary-Sue thing. Yes, she IS empathic, and I mean TRULY empathic - she feels it all, everything. She can also create, channel and focus emotion, and she's very powerful. Problem is, she's not physically strong. So when she got kidnapped by some bastard who decided to use her as a sort of human syringe, well, there wasn't much she could do about it. Eidolon's powers allowed her to focus joy into people, a bit like a high without the worries of overdose or infection. The overload of other's feelings caused her to go deeply, truly insane, almost catatonic. Not that the dude cared - he sold her 'joy-focus' touch to people at $200 a pop and was living well until she came back from whatever mental world she'd retreated to and threw every feeling of hatred and fear and lonliness into him she'd ever felt all at once. That blew his mind and she's since been teamed up with RiffRaff, wearing a little earring that dampens her powers and lets her think clearly. So yeah. Maybe I will post some of the pictures I've done of them.
