ALSO: It's nice to tell English teachers that Shakespeare was the greatest genius of literature and watch their eyes light up, tears of joy tumbling down their cheeks to pattter gently on the red-ink riddled assignments. It is also nice to pretend I know what the hell I'm talking about when I start saying things like, "Out, damn spot!" to the hat I happen to be scrubbing. I don't have to mean it. I certainly don't have to understand Elizabethan English, or know you actually ignore the line-breaks when reading iambic pentameter aloud, or occasionally translate for lesser men, but I do those anyway, because it's nice.

And then I find myself reading Macbeth for fun.

And arguing with the essays in the back of the books.

And getting angry because the movie version cuts bits.

I will pick up my nerd license on the way out.

ETA: I wanna make a Garrett icon that says, "im in ur hous, stealin ur lootz."

I don't know why. I just think it would be awesome.
