I. NEED. TO. WRITE.
Why can I? *wails*
The ideas won't leave me alone! They're just floating around in there, pushing at the limits of my head, and...
Dammit.
Okay, I am going to start a project, and if it ends up being horribly short-lived, well then, SCREW IT. I am going to write an opening for every fic/story idea in my head, one for each journal entry, so that my head doesn't explode from the sheer urge to create. It had better work, or I think I'm going to go mad and spend the rest of my life drawing really bad pictures on the walls of my room while reciting goth poetry. And I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to spend my life reciting goth poetry. Okay? Okay.
I'll also explain whatever half-formed ideas for the plot happen to birth themselves in my mind. This includes characters and settings, okey?
So.
Here goes.
Wish me sanity.
"The city had been inhabited for twenty years, and abandoned almost twice as long. A huge steel and concrete edifice bordered by mountains, desert and ocean, it was difficult to get to, especially since the pass through the mountains had been blocked off, locked away from prying eyes and looters. Once, it had been a futuristic technological wonderland - a shining monument to the mind of mankind. It was architect designed and smoothlined, full of wide, sweeping streets and beautiful buildings interspersed liberally with carefully cultivated trees and plants.
Now, it rusted. The trees had flourished outside of their constraints, and most of the buildings were crumbling.
Outward appearances would lead one to believe it was deserted, but like most things these days, appearances, in this city, were entirely unreliable. Still, even to one privy to these facts, it would have been suprising to realise the extent of the activity within its walls.
But then, that really was the idea."
OKAY so it explains squat and could be the beginning to ANYTHING. I don't give a damn. It has a whole story from there, including my current muse the Champion (or possibly Third - you choose whichever name you wanna know her by) and her friend/adoptive daughter/protectee/resident computer nerd Kerry, or Kerian. I haven't quite decided on a name for the place yet. It's possibly called Wilkes (last name of the guy who thought it up) but I don't really like that. It's so...non-governmental.
There might be some other story extensions including 'Monarch' and 'Militia'. But then, they might end up being OC's.
So yeah. I might still explode, but it's less iminent now. I need to go file the ideas in some kind of relevent order.
