Don't ask me where the hell that title came from, it's probably the overdose of GLEE I've had lately. See, I don't know why, but I've been happy lately. Possibly because we actually went to Supanova. That's SUPANOVA, people, pop culture convention, habitat of geeks and nerds and all members of the species Homo Sapiens Nulbiolines.
I can explain what it was like with one word.

Cosplayers! Jedi! Stormtroopers! Plushies, DVD's, Trade Paperbacks, Posters...EVERYthing I could ever have wanted to see in one place, IN ONE PLACE, with other people who like them squealing and smiling and quoting stuff left and right!
Also, the prices could cause you to inhale your own tongue.
But some stuff was free. Posters and stickers and things, and looking at the cosplayers didn't cost a cent. I saw Auron, Lenne, a Jedi woman, Cloud, Dante, Lulu (her costume was really good too - she even had contacts) and a really bad Tidus. I also think I saw some Stargate guys. And I donated my birthday money (ten bucks - I have a lot of cousins) to the buying of a ZIM PLUSHIE. He is adorable, with great big pink eyes and wire in his arms and legs and antennae so I can pose him to my heart's content. *squeeze* He is huggable. if ONLY I'd had enough to buy that Ed plushie - she had a little Ein and - Oooh. That's it, I'm saving up for the next convention I go to.
My poor Dad was so confused. There were all these things he'd never heard of and me and my sister knew a lot of them. I got within poking distance of that guy who plays Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter movies. Aaaand I saw Ray Park giving lightsaber lessons - that was neat.
THE NERDS. They were everywhere! People were having Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments - and they were taking them seriously.
I LOVE CONVENTIONS.

My birthday was kinda disappointing. I got FFX-2 - which I haven't had a chance to finish yet, "The Queen Seekers" (It's a bit dull and it has a badly CG rendered cover), "Drowned Wednesday" (that's pretty good - and very weird), flowers, and Rose chocolates. But we went out and had kebabs. I like kebabs. And those healthy fruit drinks with ice in them - thems is yummy.
Back at school now - blurrrrr. My teacher didn't like my historical journal entry thing because it was realistic. I would have thought a soldier wouldn't know what dysentry was - specially in World War 2! Gah!
I'm tired now.
