Superpower: Confound Bureaucracy
I think I rolled a one on my bureaucracy check.
See, after a long and ridiculous battle extending from the month of January to today, I appeared to have finally extracted my youth allowance. The back pay - by now enough to make my student-brain's jaw drop - was supposed to come through yesterday.
It did not.
The reason?
It was too much. It had to be resubmitted and broken up into smaller payments.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY BROKEN CENTRELINK.
This has officially wrapped around from annoying to completely hilarious.

Maybe you actually rolled decently and it's Centrelink that rolled a one.
What's youth allowance? I googled it and found a website about it, but all it said was that it was to help assist people. And, er, I didn't feel like poking through all the links to find out more. It is okay if you want to kick me for being a lazy Internet jerk.

Well, 'cause I'm under twenty-five, living away from home and studying full-time, I have the right to claim an allowance from the gub'ment to support me while I'm too busy to find work. Basically, I give them a bunch of forms and they send me money every two weeks, and in exchange I keep attending my course. Getting it is just as annoying as you'd expect getting money from a government institution would be.
