On the hand, cult classic gets a sequel! This is definitely good. Also, holy crap, graphics. Also, there are so many things I wanted to see from the first game that will maybe get dealt with!
On the other hand, there were so many things from the first game that I wanted to see dealt with. And instead of getting those things, I got some weird final dungeon on da MOON and nothing at all about corruption and corporations and politics.
I was actually fairly awsomed out by the weird final dungeon on DA MOON* but yes, it would be nice if they got into that whole TRUTH thing a little more. And explained the ending.
...I kinda really want that shot of Jade crosslegged under the parasol as a desktop background. Eeeee parasol.
And right after they make the Psychonauts sequel, we'll head out and pitch Grim Fandango to Pixar, and reopen LGS with the money from its wild success and then the sky will open and rain money and pudding on all the starving nations of the world as Jesus returns love to the human race and we all join hands and sing happy songs. That's how awesome it would be.

To be honest, I don't remember very much about the last dungeon, because I think I was studying pretty hard for finals while Baco played it in the background. I do remember (vaguely) that the last boss fight was really cool, but mostly I was just kind of disappointed. It felt almost like the developers had been going along great, they had this awesome idea and plot and they were halfway there and the exciting stuff was about to happen -- and then they either ran out of money or reached the deadline point and went, Oh hey, it's time to end it! Let's just do something really cool and ignore all the plot build up.
But yeah, I, uh, don't remember it very well.
That would make an awesome background. I loved the atmosphere in that trailer so much, it was so stark and pretty at the same time. <3 (Oh man, suddenly I really want Jade and Kaylee to meet and have adventures together and ditch the pig.)
