Hey ladies and I think...one dude? Well, two dudes now. But anyway, hey peeps! I am not in fact deliberately holding out on the Vietnam wackiness. There is some shenanigans going on with my camera involving the first card I used not being converted and that one had all my Saigon photos on it, yadda yadda yadda, it's a mess. To make up for it, I'll upload my two favourite photos that I took. Neither of them have any people in them, I just lucked out with moments of prettiness.

Also, I'm kind of afraid to ask which character you're applying for. It's not Garrett, is it? Because my first thought was, "OH NO YOU DON'T, HE HAS HAD ENOUGH TRAUMA ALREADY IN THE CRADLE. Although I guess if there was ever a person who could escape, it'd be him.

I was so proud of myself when I found it on the camera gallery. I'd just been lining up and snapping photos every five minutes or so on the boat, and that one just jumped out, it was awesome.

Less stupid camera than stupid tiny little card and my dad for being somewhat unobservant. It's easily fixed!

It's..uh...It's Garrett. I'M SORRY, I JUST - HE'S SO UTTERLY UNAFRAID, ALL THE TIME. What I'm doing is filling out the app and seeing if I still feel I could pull it off at the end. I have seven paragraphs in the personality bit, I had no idea I'd thought so hard about him. As to the Cradle thing, I'm actually taking him from the end of Metal Age, for various reasons. And hell, if Solid Snake can take it, so can he.

JAMES? OH GOD. Can you imagine what being told Mary never existed would do to him? The thought makes my skin crawl.

I just want to keep staring at it and pretending I'm there. AT THE SUNSET, I mean, not in Landel. Hah! Ahaha. ....ha.

...WHAT. Will -- will there be lootz for him to steal? I mean, I could maybe forgive you if, if, you know. He got something out of it. Although, man, now I'm picturing him just being convinced that this is all the Keepers' fault, somehow. I'm very curious what you say in the application! I'm not sure I could fill up seven paragraphs worth.

I really, really want to play Metal Age sometime. WHY IS IT NOT EASILY AVAILABLE.

Being an ordinary person in Landel's would be so weird. All the other subjects would be going on about, you know, controlling fire and flinging cars and beating up gods and the like, and all you'd be able to say would be, "I once drank two whole giant bottles of Fanta on a dare and threw up orange." I mean, what would the staff say? You crafted a fantasy world where you're a slightly boring geek with terrible taste in hats?

Thank you! That part of the trip was one of my favourites. It's nice being on a boat watching the sunset while the two halves of your group swap insults and beer and random fisherpeople fall out of their canoes trying to show off. Apparently Vietnamese and Australians are equally dorky.

The Garrett in my head asked the same thing, actually. You're such greedy-guts, the both of you. I'll have to ask the mods. XD I agree that if anyone could escape a place so inescapable, it'd be him. But the Keeper thing...I'm not sure, it doesn't really seem their style. He'd just put it down to someone playing silly buggers and plot horrible ironic vengeance. (I'm not sure how I did it either. The moment I typed the phrase "intelligent but unwise" I thought I'd get knocked out and wake up to find my house gone or something. God, I hope I get it right. I'm always terrified when I do stuff like this because it's such an influential series.) The hardest part is going to be making a damn icon set. He looks different in every one of the concept ahrts, not to mention from, like, cutscene to cutscene.

Heh, before the implosion I'd made a few notes about my impressions, and half of it was babble about how terrified I am of the Mechanists. They're so creepy. Man, I'd lend you my copy but my brother would eat my head. I think it's possible to get a compilation that has all three games?

Bloody hell, I'm not even a third of the way through Garrett's freaking life story, you want me to take my brain and beat it with a hammer? BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'D HAVE TO DO TO EMULATE JAMES' MIND-SET.
