I know I'm a bit late on this, but I just gotta comment now that I checked your livejournal already.
I used to watch Samurai Jack a LOT. Then I just kinda... STopped. And I wish I hadn't. Anyway, I recently went to an anime convention with a friend of mine. Left him alone for ten minutes, come back and he's spent five hundred bucks on Transformers toys and he has them all in a giant garbage bag. The guy looks like he mugged Santa. He says his parents will be mad if they find out he spent it all in one place. So, I offered to hold most of the toys for him and have him come over to get them a few at a time over the next month or so so it's more difficult for his parents to realize what's going on.
The price? He has all of Samurai Jack on DVD, and each time he picks up a toy he has to bring the DVDs and watch it for a couple hours with me.
