Also, oh man the election I have been on the verge of crying all day. JUST BECAUSE. I want it to be over all ready! So I can know if my tears are tears of joy or tears of SORROW AND HATE.

...somehow, though, I have become convinced that however the election turns out, that's how the rest of my semester will go.

Maybe you can 3D model the election somehow. So, uh, your edginess can cross over to your hate? BEST PLAN EVER.

I've never done 3D modeling, but I've watched my brother go mad with frustration trying to do it for fun, so... Good luck with it?

ALSO. Also. Just got the news! (From two dudes in the common room dancing and gleeing all over the place.) And some of the delirious joy is infecting me. I'm so happy for you guys!

Yep! It actually looks like a TIE Fighter now. Albeit a pink one. Now I just gotta texture it and I'm done! I think I might actually finish the fucking thing! HAH.

Two guys just ran into the common room screaming "OBAMA WON!" so I guess it's tears of joy! Have a victory internet hug! I hope you guys'll be able to relax now, one of the least fun parts of this whole thing has been watching everybody get all stressed and worried.

Unfortunately 3D modeling requires clear thought and plenty of care, so edginess isn't the best idea, but it's a lot closer to done now than it was this morning! So that's pretty cool!

Hahaha, yeah, 'mad with frustration' describes it pretty well. But! The modeling itself is basically done, now it's time for texturing! YAAAAY.

Just got news that Obama won and - well. Even though America isn't my country, it's really great seeing my flist so happy! And I really hope everything goes better for you guys, you've had a really rough time of it.

I'm so unbelievably relieved but, at the same time, I'm still worried. This country is so stupidly divided. I want to say it can only get better from here, but of course that's completely not true. (I had FFXI running when the win was announced, and there were immediately players shouting about killing him, which was alarming.) Obama's popularity everywhere else in the world does give me a bit of hope, though. Maybe we can at least begin to salvage our global reputation?

I hope you put up pictures of this 3D image, too! I've heard so much about it, I don't think it'd be right not to.

Hooray! I find it so amazing, how all these other countries are so interested in how our election is going. AND I AM SO GLAD WE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT THEM. Oh man, I am so relieved and happy and everything. *HUG!*
