Well, maybe you can make a Horcrux! Then you'll get Faustian immortality and Evil Overlord it up! It would be awesome!

If you want to be chronological (I wasn't) you'll have to start hunting up old copies of Thief: The Dark Project. I sacked the second-hand section of my favourite game store for the one I have, and, er, the other one I have that is a special edition SHUT UP I'M NOT OBSESSED but you might have more trouble. How are you at FPS?
